Here are a few tips on applying
makeup. In particularly,
eyeshadow,
eyeliner and
mascara.
Making your eyes look brighter
To make the whites of your eyes look brighter, use a
light blue Pencil under the eyes or blue
eyeshadow lightly applied under
the eyes. White pink and yellow
eyeliners also have the effect of
brightening up the eyes.
Applying
eyeshadow
Before you start, dust eyelid with a
dampened brush and a little face powder. This will help to prevent your
shadow from melting. Choose three shades in the same colour family -
light, medium and a darker shade for contrast. Apply the lightest shade
on the entire lid from brow to lash line. The medium shade is going to
bring out the colour of your eyes. Apply from lash line to just above
the crease. The darkest colour is going to be applied close to the
lashes. Dampen the brush and then pick up a little colour. Smudge it in
around the lash base. If you have bags beneath your eyes, you might want
to only line the top lashes
Prevent
creasing of
eyeshadow
To keep
eye shadow
from creasing first dust the lid with powder. It creates an oil-free
surface to ensure the shadow goes on smoothly.
Applying
mascara It
is essential to ensure a thorough coat of
mascara is applied from the
root to tip of the eyelashes. Always start by applying the
mascara to the root of the lash before
rolling the brush towards the lash tip in full even strokes. This will
ensure you have a fully defined lashes and maximum.
when applying
mascara to the lower lashes hold the
brush vertically and brush form side to side with full strokes.
